Description
Kimberley Moore had it all, the perfect husband, beautiful kids and everything else she dreamed of. But her life changes when her husband cheats on her for the hundredth time and she is forced to make a decision that would change her life forever. At first, filing of the divorce was amusing and the feeling of revenge surged through her, but that quickly faded, as she started to miss her husband and even regretted what she had done. As the years passed, she grew comfortable with the idea that she would be single for a while, if not the rest of her life, since every relationship she had tried to commit too, turned into a farce, where her ex would throw his weight around and manipulate her with their kids. She knew, she would never be rid of him, even if she did meet someone who would be able to stand up to him and fight for her. Although she still loved her ex, she knew she could not be with him anymore, but she didn’t know how to let him go, she wasn’t sure if she even wanted to. She was confused when he suddenly started showing interest in her again, because his love and affection, his body and his lust were all she knew, all she craved since high school. He had always been everything she ever wanted. It felt natural to be with him, and she wanted so hard to believe that he had changed and that he knew how to love her right this time. She found herself drunk and addicted to him again. His body owned her body like he had done for so many years. She didn’t know how to say no; she also didn’t want to say no. She was afraid that if she did, he would leave her again and find someone new, like before.
Kim makes the mistake of proclaiming her seemly undying love to Michael, when she encounters his rejection of her again. She soon learns that their perception of what was happening between them, were not the same. Kimberley was falling in love with him again, but all he wanted was her sex. He made it clear to her that there could be nothing more between them, and that he would always want her body, but he couldn’t take a risk with her heart. Lost and broken again, sitting half naked on her couch Kim decided that it was over. She needed to end things with him once and for all, and get her life, her heart, body and soul back. It was time.
Adam Lamb-Turner appeared out of nowhere and rocked her world hard. She never had a man woke feeling of desire in her as he did. He came and stole her heart and to some extent all her senses. She couldn’t believe that love had found her again, and it flowed over to her boys. As much as she loved what was happening with Adam, something else were tugging at her. Michael Moore, was in the background wreaking havoc in her life in his usual controlling way.
As the tears rolls down her face, heaven must have heard her cry, because she is quickly distracted but Adam with his curly hair and a dimple that would make any woman’s knees weak. At first, she thought that she must be imagining it, but soon it becomes clear that Adam wanted her. While finding herself again, she also found herself lost within the life of her best friend. As things look to change for the better for Kim, Claudia found herself in a rut, where she becomes torn between love and lust and fighting her sexuality. Claudia thought that she had it under control, until the temptation got the better of her. Claudia finds herself caught between fighting her sexual preferences and love. She was in love but deeper in lust and that carried heavy consequences for her.
Kim finds herself torn between the narcissistic hold of Michael and the genuine affection, care and desire she got from Adam. She longed for Michael to love her, deeply and passionately as a husband should love his wife, but after things between her and Michael escalated to toxic and destructive, she tried to handle it the best way she knew. She built her walls up high, and shut everyone out, believing that she had to fix things on her own. But love wasn’t done with her yet.
